Wide 24.5mm Lens with 20x Optical Zoom
The integrated 20x optical zoom lens has minimal distortion and ranges from a wide-angle 24.5mm to a telephoto 490mm (35mm film equivalent). Its i.Zoom technology supports up to 24x zoom in UHD 4K and 32x in 1080p while maintaining high resolution.
High-Sensitivity MOS Sensor
The AG-CX370's 1"-type MOS sensor smartly balances image quality and sensitivity with up to f/12 in UHD 4K60 and 1080p in High Sensitivity mode. It supports resolutions up to UHD 4K60 in 4:2:2 10-bit without cropping in any mode.
Intelligent AF, Face Detection, and Tracking AE/AF
The intelligent autofocus system uses a micro-drive unit to produce high focus speeds, excellent tracking, and impressive stability. Advanced Face Detection AE/AF automatically identifies and adjusts exposure for up to nine faces while identifying the main face in your frame.
5-Axis Hybrid Stabilization
Built-in, five-axis hybrid stabilization corrects for camera shake in five axes: vertical, horizontal, pitch, roll, and yaw. It combines optical (O.I.S.) and electronic stabilization and offers Normal, Stable, and Pan/Tilt modes to smooth your capture in various situations.
Manual F/I/Z Rings
Individual rings for focus, iris, and zoom let you quickly control those parameters manually with a satisfying tactile feel. Use the multistep lever on the handle to zoom smoothly at ultralow speeds when supported by a tripod.
HDR-Compliant V-Log/HLG
With support for both HLG (hybrid log gamma) HDR (high dynamic range) and 13.5-stop V-Log gamma, the AG-CX370 can capture detailed, nuanced exposures. The gamma mode provides nine choices: HD, SD, Filmlike 1, 2, and 3, Film-Rec, Video-Rec, HLG, and V-Log.
Broadcast-Level Grading
Broadcast-level grading functions include independent, 16-axis color correction, master detail, skin detail, six adjustable scene preset files, and settings like matrix tables, detail coring, chroma level and phase, color temperature, master pedestal, and knee.
Simultaneous LCD and OLED EVF Viewing
The AG-CX370's new 3.2" high-definition, touchscreen OLED monitor uses RGBW pixels to provide high visibility, even outdoors in sunlight. It's 3:2 aspect ratio provides room for timecode and camera status displays without impinging on your image. The simultaneous LCD and EVF output lets you keep an eye on your image, even when you're unable to keep your eye to the viewfinder.
Multi-Format and Multi-Codec Recording
Using the highly efficient HEVC (H.265, LongGOP, 10-bit, 4:2:0, MOV) codec, the AG-CX370 camcorder is able to play back footage smoothly on your laptop using free software like VLC Media Player or QuickTime Player. It supports up to 10-bit UHD 4K60 capture on SD cards and uses MOV files that are highly compatible and easily managed. It also supports AVCHD recording, including the 8 Mb/s mode widely used in college sports and no-crop, 10-bit variable 1-60 fps frame rates in UHD 4K, and up to 120 fps in 1080p.
P2 MXF File Support
Support for the broadcast-friendly P2 MXF file format includes simultaneous main and proxy recording with V-Log/V-709 and HDR/SDR. Like Panasonic P2 HD camcorders, the AG-CX370 also supports Shot Mark for thumbnail displays, playback, and selective uploading of marked clips.
Dual Card Slots
The AG-CX370 uses dual SDXC/SDHC/microP2 cards, enabling simultaneous capture or unlimited relay and backup recording.
NDI|HX2 Support and SRT Streaming
Stream your content in UHD 4K or simultaneously record and stream in 1080p using RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP, or SRT protocols. The AG-CX370 also supports NDI|HX2 for video transmission and camera control via your IP network.
Built-In ND Filters
Use the built-in ND filter with 1/4, 1/16, 1/64, and clear settings to adjust incoming light levels to suit your shooting environment. The filter can be used to prevent resolution loss caused by excessive aperture reduction (diffraction) and supports a wide aperture for sharp images with a shallow depth of field.
4-Channel Audio Recording
The AG-CX370 supports four-channel, 24-bit PCM audio recording, combining two XLR inputs (line/mic) with two additional channels coming from either a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input or the built-in stereo microphone.
Versatile Control Options
Multiple control options include Panasonic remote controllers like the AW-RP150GJ or AK-HRP1010GJ/HRP1015GJ panels, third-party wired control units, and the CX ROP smartphone and tablet app for Android and Mac devices. The app supports metadata transfer to your recording and control for up to eight Panasonic AG/AJ-CX series camcorders.
Pro System Features
Professional video system features include SDI timecode input/output and genlock input for multi-camera shoots, simultaneous 10-bit UHD 4K SDI and HDMI output, auto tally activation when using a compatible switcher, and LiveU/TVU bonding compatibility with status info displayed in the camera's viewfinder and LCD screen.
