Panasonic AJ-HPX3100 Overview
Panasonic's AJ-HPX3100GJ P2 HD Camcorder is a compact 2/3" ENG camera capable of recording full-raster 1920 x 1080 video in a variety of formats and frame rates. From AVC-Intra 100 down to standard-definition DV, the AJ-HPX3100GJ lets you capture stunning master-quality footage using 4:2:2 10-bit sampling and up to 24-bit audio. Whether you're shooting news, documentaries, TV series, commercials, or digital cinema, the camera's quiver of professional features gives you the control, convenience and portability you need.

- Master-quality 1920 x 1080 10-bit video with run-and-gun flexibility
- Newly designed body with low center of gravity offers unobstructed views on both sides and weighs approx. 8.6 lbs (3.9kg) without accessories
- Power consumption approximately 34W for the camera recorder only, about 23% lower than a conventional model
- 2.2 megapixel 2/3-type 3CCD provides high-resolution full-pixel HD images
- High sensitivity of F11 (2000 lx) in 1080/59.94i mode or F12 (2000 lx) in 1080/50i, plus an excellent S/N ratio of 59 dB
- One-clip recording function records multiple cuts in a single clip
- New options enable high-quality proxy video and wireless LAN capability
- Chromatic Aberration Compensation (CAC) function compensates for and reduces lens error that may appear with very high resolution recording
- Three-level Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) function that varies the gamma correction to match the contrast within the image
- Advanced 14-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) circuit with A/D conversion and 12-axis independent color compensation and detail
- Records on high data transfer speed E-Series P2 cards (capacity up to 64GB)
- Digital Zoom and Digital Super Gain
- One-clip REC function that records up to 99 consecutive cuts as a single clip, greatly facilitating NLE news or documentary editing
- 2 disc/4 position ND/CC optical filter
- High-resolution, flip-out 3.5" color LCD monitor
